ABOUT ME

I grew up in America’s Heartland (Omaha, Nebraska) before spending the better part of ten years in New York City as a director of acquisitions for the former streaming platform, SnagFilms.

I relocated to Los Angeles as a Screenwriting discipline fellow at the American Film Institute Conservatory, where I then received my Master of Fine Arts degree in 2020, admittance to the Writers Guild of America West in 2021, and a student category Emmy nomination for comedy writing in 2023.

As a filmmaker I believe in using genre—particularly comedy and horror—to further explore characters and examine American cultural experiences, trends, and biases through an obscure, unconventional lens.
